COURSE SUMMARY:

This training day is designed to develop the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of ones self and family, and to provide critical information on modern techniques and applications.

THIS COURSE INCLUDES:

•Introduction to Defensive Shooting,

•The Art of Drawing,

•Rhythm,

•Concealed vs Open Carry considerations,

•After action drills,

•Malfunction recovery,

•Tactical/Emergency reloads.

•Kinestetic alignment

•Lunch

PRE-REQUISITES:

Shooters must be able to demonstrate the basic skills of safe gun handling and proof of shooting experience. Persons who are convicted felons and/or who have been convicted of domestic violence need not apply.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

•Handgun,

•Holster,

•Ammunition (min. 300 training ammo),

•Magazines W/ carrier (3 preferred),

•Eye and Ear protection,

•Elbow and knee pads (suggested, not required),

•Suitable range attire

•Notebook and pen
